Several initiatives are working towards these goals:

- Purchase and improvement of thickets, hedgerows and woods which surround the vineyards and its various plots of land, to encourage a variety of natural flora and fauna.
- Organic and
mineral fertilizers support the soil
-
Permanent grass cover on every other row promotes a living terrain
- High-performance spraying equipment reduces the quantities applied
-
Mechanical weeding
- Waste water management with dispersion of excess surface rainwater allows natural filtration
- A washing trough for the grape harvester saves water
- With 280 m2 of solar panels, the energy required to produce La Garelle wines is less than our photovoltaic output. So our wines have no CO2 impact. The sun not only grows our vines and ripens our grapes. It also delivers the energy to produce our wines and to preserve and mature them in the best conditions.
-
High Environmental Value (HVE) certification in 2019
- Domaine La Garelle obtained
Organic Agriculture certification since 2023.
